“There is a rhythm in life, a certain beauty which operates by a variation of lights and shadows, happiness alternating with sorrow, content with discontent, distilling in this process of contrast a sense of satisfaction, of richness that can be captured and pinned down only by those who possess the gift of awareness.” ~Louis Bromfield I love high contrast moody images with pockets of light. They inspire me to continue to find the light and shadows and capture them beautifully. I can’t wait to see how everyone captures light and SHADOW this month!
“All the masterpieces of art contain both light and shadow. A happy life is not one filled with only sunshine, but one which uses both light and shadow to produce beauty.” ~Billy Graham
Join us for this month’s theme by posting your Shadow images on our Facebook page at Share Six and to our Instagram gallery, by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_shadow. A new theme will come out on March 6th. I have joined a group of photographers, Share Six, who will be blogging 6 images each month. Each month is a different theme. Please click HERE to see Tori of Roots and Twigs Photography’s interpretation of this months theme.
SharleenI love these Kathy – especially those tiny little toes. I also love the black and white at the window. Good choice for a theme.
