Black and white imagery has a special place in my heart. It speaks to me. I often find myself shooting purposefully knowing I will convert to black and white. Not only does it have history, but it is minimalistic and simply beautiful.
Deanne Fitzmaurice says it so well, “We have all fallen in love with the beauty and power of black and white photography where everything is stripped down to the core; light, textures, contrast, tonality, mood and raw emotion”.
